In giving of myself, what is the human need?
Is to be unconditionally known, loved and seen!
What is want but a desire often possessed with greed …
Is that piercing dart felt,
but not from above.
A piercing that chases,
which said unloved.
In giving what I need, love, I abundantly receive,
I have what I lack and affectionately believe!
But to pursue what I want will finitely please …
Is to lack which becomes,
that constant cease.
A lacking of which,
in seeking does not ease.
In giving to God, my life, and to cover,
Is to be unconditionally known as Jehovah will hover!
What is life a precious gift an offering in His honor …
Is to rest in a safe place,
to be under His cover.
A safety in shelter,
His arms and place to discover.
In giving of my heart, departs, that vulnerable part,
Is to reach to the depth of His sacred heart!
To take that which is sacred and sacrificially impart …
Is to find a blessed treasure,
a secret place of art.
Is to be found beyond grand
an infinite map to chart.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
