Be Anxious For Nothing

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”. ~ Philippians 4:6-7

Have you ever felt overwhelmed, and trusting Father God for the unseen to be seen?

Sometimes, more often than not, my life presents itself with what looks like the beginnings of a leisurely hike, an adventurous trek into the unknown and then without warning the weather, the terrain changes, and suddenly I’m faced with an enormous task. It is a crossroad bigger than what I can do challenge of trekking through, climbing over, and above large life boulders. A maneuvering which takes me through an uneven, unwelcoming path of a life that is messy and filled with yucky dirt. It is laced with unstable piles of rock and in the mist, subject to a stumble or fall, a steady stream of Satan’s fiery darts and raindrops that flow, in hail and snow that surround me.

Then …
   a determination,
   a strength,
emerges, not only to sustain;
   but a mindset,
   a diligence,
is not to be defeated, remains.
Where Christ, intercedes …
says go forth in MY perseverance;
   an ability,
   rushes in,
goes beyond, and the distance.
An enabling …
   strengthens,
   a push, a trekking onward;
a surrendering,
   so profound,
a life restored, then moving forward.
Sensing …
   the sacred mist,
a hearing, and His words falling;
   a bold,
   gentle whisper,
an unshakeable peace, calling.
Surrendering …
   once again,
heart, soul, and all it contains;
   God’s only,
   and one way,
Christ’ ultimate reign.
Victory …
   it comes,
in taking a faith step;
   a faith step,
   unknown,
one step, and at a time.
At the same time …
   giving praise,
and to His Throne;
   where life ends,
   life begins,
beyond our comfort zone!

Be anxious for nothing.
