Remembering … senseless violence, hundreds of lives lost, cost of freedom is not free, what was meant to harm – God has and will continue to use for good!
In remembrance – let us honor those who fought the good fight with courage, continue to stand and fight for freedom, be a voice for the voiceless – but most of all, repent as a nation, and return to God, Christ in us ~ our true source of freedom!
Galatians 2:20-21 ~ I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousnesswere through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
Proverbs 31:8, 9 ~ Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.
2 Corinthians 3:16,17 ~ But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Colossians 1:14-16 ~ Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see – such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
