Fresh Wind

Winds are washing …

God’s presence and like snow falling,

fresh winds are groaning speaks from within.

All the while …

angels come surrounding,

glory comes pounding,

raindrops a pouring and all around.

Winds are pursuing …

God’s compassion a swirling,

a flowing in intimacy deeply is found.

All the while …

joy comes talking,

its waves a crashing,

growing, taking and proclaiming more ground.

Peace-filling its freeing,

replacing and wrapping,

consumed, swept, I’m made complete.

All the while …

his mercies unfolding,

a mercy engaging,

pain fading a disappearing sinks beneath.

In your winds …

my heart is bending,

weeping a falling becomes so sweet.

All the while …

caught in your grace,

I’m whispering Your praises,

I am released!

Hear, Lord, and be merciful to me; Lord, be my help.” You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever. ~ Psalm 30:10-12
