Tears

Image

TEARS …
mirror the face swept away and in commotion,
a reflection which churns in desperate emotion.
An unfolding story,
into an untold glory …
the creative transfusion,
of a soul in fusion.

TEARS …
present a change, a never-ending stream,
the flowing in pain its constant scream.
An overwhelmed heart,
the emergence of hurt …
though sacrificially torn,
becomes renewed, re-birthed.

TEARS …
bring forth a chase, a saddened moment,
chasing with tears the cleansing atonement.
Seeking to give, an abundant grace,
a gentle washing when boldly faced …
capturing within His holy place,
divinely surrounded with enduring strength.

TEARS …
provide a pace, it ultimately satisfies,
a tracing of the heart which finally collides.
Meshing a complex, a broken cistern,
submitting to Christ without permission …
ignites the stubborn a willful heart,
with his cleanse his blessings to impart.

TEARS …
bring on fountains, an impending rush,
a massive mountain an embarrassing flush.
Conflict its focus, an intensified motion,
an all-consuming impending implosion …
allowed by God a purifying wash,
an embrace from him that counts the cost.

TEARS …
are persistent, a Christ-like companion,
in whom alone formats formation.
Enabling the walk, it begins from within,
an inner chamber a holiness swims …
walks then talks to those precious parts,
in grace he renews and sin departs.

TEARS …
are beautiful, that teardrop expression,
a heart solely ready and in submission.
Suffering it ceases, its oppressive sensation,
replaced with joy cries in jubilation …
basking at the Throne in His presence,
now embracing the wonder of His essence.

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.
Psalm 126:5

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
Revelation 7:17

Tears are that indescribable expression, a blessing, release of joy and sorrow given from our Heavenly Father to his beloved children.
Jesus wept and so shall we.
