Just as the sun arises each morning, peeking and then dispelling the darkness, there is no shadow left! Choosing to be thankful in all things, JOY rises up and does the same!
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6)
In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:4-5)
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. (Isaiah 60:1)
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day. (Proverbs 4:18)
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. (Habakkuk 3:17–19)
