The Freedom Challenge: Nancy’s Challenge 4 Their Freedom

Freedom ChallengeGiving Hope:  Freedom For The One!

I am raising awareness and funds for THE FREEDOM CHALLENGE – CLIMBING THE GRAND TETONS, WYOMING for women and children who are oppressed, enslaved, exploited, and trafficked. The funds ($5,000) will provide vital services to women and children through Operation Mobilization’s Freedom Challenge projects around the world. These projects help break the cycles of poverty, shame, slavery, and despair through projects that prevent, rescue, develop, and restore. Will you join me in rescuing these women and children? If so, please GIVE today!

Kilimanjaro 2012

Mt. Kilimanjaro 2012

I participated in the first Freedom Challenge (Climb) to Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2012. The purpose was to come alongside the suffering and exploited to provide hope and freedom; born from the persecuted plight of others from the past. My ancestors were persecuted and martyred because they were Christ-followers who fled Scotland due to religious persecution. Once settled in America, they participated in the freedom of slaves via the Underground Railroad. This example of courage and faith in the face of severe opposition, a family heritage of standing up for what is right in the defense of the gospel, the pursuit of justice for those suffering without hope, obviously, it modeled an authentic faith resulting in the baton being passed to me. When presented with the opportunity to make the climb to Mt. Kilimanjaro and the current opportunity to climb the Grand Tetons, I felt God prompting my heart to join, and because my heart is grafted in His, it captured mine.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice. – Proverbs 31:8-9

Consider joining me in speaking up for the voiceless! Thank you in advance for your support!
