CALL

Often God prompts us to give up a dream to embrace His Call. And often the only reason we take a pause or don’t embrace it is because we do not see the bigger picture that God sees!

In 1973 that happened to me. I gave up a diving career, the dream to hopefully one day participate in the Olympics to follow God’s call. That call was missional. It wasn’t that God couldn’t use me in the competitive diving world, its just there was something to embrace that was different.

The spiritual realities that are around us are around us all the time, and the only way to see them is to hear from – be tuned in to God. Just as to view a mountain beckons a hiker to hike, God calls believers to take that same challenge. A faith step into His calling.
